• Selection & Digitization: Our experts source the prestigious wines in the world directly from winemakers, which are then converted into unique digital assets. The second bottles or cases reach our Luxembourg warehouse a tamper-proof label with an NFC chip is put across each bottle or across a case. That chip sends a unique identification to the blockchain. Each asset represents ownership of a specific wine or case.
• Investment & Trading: Investors purchase these digital assets on our marketplace, effectively owning the wine. They can hold or trade these assets as they see fit.
• Storage & Monitoring:The actual wine is stored in our secure warehouse which has several temperature and humidity sensors disseminated. T° and H° levels are continuously monitored and recorded on the blockchain. You can check these data points in near-real time.

The Vinesia warehouse is located in Luxembourg. For safety and security reasons, we do not allow unsolicited visits. However, we provide photos and videos from inside our actual warehouse to give you a glimpse of where and how your wine is stored. Rest assured, your investment is kept under optimal conditions in our secure facility. We will be providing additional footage (both videos and photos) of the inside of the warehouse over the coming months.

Yes, the photos you see on our website are actual images of the wines you can invest in, they are contractual and binding. Each image is unique and represents a specific bottle or case of wine. This is part of our commitment to transparency and authenticity, ensuring you know exactly what you are investing in…Incidentally, it shows you, our investor, that we actually own the bottles (or cases).

Yes. We offer a 0% service fee for the first 12 months following an investment on primary sales, which applies when an investor purchases their wine directly from Vinesia’s initial inventory.

Please note that this does not apply to secondary sales on the Vinesia marketplace.

After the first year, a service fee of 2.4% per annum is applied.

This fee covers the core tech that enables Vinesia to offer our “Peace of Mind” pledge towards our investors (Proof of Authenticity, Proof of Ownership, Proof of Storage Conditions).
It also covers the costs of storage, insurance, and optimal storage conditions.
Finally, it funds the development of new functionalities which are on our roadmap for the future.

The 2.4% service decreases based on the volume of your investments (Asset Under Management, AUM).

The service fee will also be reduced for Vinesia Circle members (coming in Q4 2023).

We are not telling you that we will build that “ultimate funky super-special wine portfolio for you” while simply assembling in the background what we are able to source.The photos will always be real photos of your bottles or cases, not random 3D renderings, as lovely as they may look.The wines come directly from winemakers, you do not have to worry about whether the wines may be counterfeit.When you want to sell your investment, you do not have to call anyone – you just put it for sale on the marketplace with a couple of clicks. Or maybe someone will have made an unsolicited bid for your asset which you decide to accept. We want the investment experience on both sides of the trade to be easy and transparent.

Yes, you can have your wine shipped, however, please be aware that the cost of shipping and any applicable VAT will be the responsibility of the customer.

A bonded warehouse is a type of storage facility that allows for the storing of goods without immediate payment of duty or VAT. This is applicable to the wine you purchase through Vinesia, as it is held in our bonded warehouse in Luxembourg. This arrangement defers any duty until the wine leaves the warehouse, meaning you won’t pay VAT on the wine while it’s stored with us. Vinesia uses a bonded warehouse to provide a secure environment that maintains the quality and value of your wine investment over time.
